Camber never invents a health number. Targets come from published equations, nutrition data comes from public databases, and training targets are computed by fixed rules from your own logs. Here is where each number comes from.
Energy: resting burn and daily burn
The OUT number starts from an estimate of what your body burns at rest, scaled by how active you are.
Resting energy (BMR) is estimated with the Mifflin-St Jeor equation from your height, weight, age, and sex. If you choose a sex option other than male or female, Camber uses the midpoint of the two published constants.

Your calorie target is daily burn adjusted moderately for your goal. Moderate changes support keeping muscle while losing fat, and limiting fat gain while building.
Fat loss uses a moderate deficit of about 400 calories per day rather than an aggressive cut.

Protein targets scale with your body weight and goal, between 1.6 and 2.2 grams per kilogram per day.
Around 1.6 g/kg/day supports muscle gain for most people, with benefits observed up to about 2.2 g/kg/day.

Fat is set at about 25 percent of calories, inside the accepted 20 to 35 percent range for adults. Carbohydrates fill the remaining calories after protein and fat.

Camber does not invent nutrition numbers. Every value is creator-stated, database-sourced, or clearly marked as an estimate.
Recipe nutrition comes from the recipe creator when they state it. When they do not, Camber estimates it from the ingredients using USDA data and marks it with a ~.

Rep ranges and progressive overload (double progression and linear progression schemes) follow established resistance training guidance.
